Boston is ripe with car service options, yet finding a rideshare vehicle can be a bit challenging when you’re exiting a facility as large as the BCEC and a venue as popular as The Lawn On D. To simplify accessibility for your attendees and exhibitors, Signature Boston has collaborated with Lyft and Uber, two of Boston’s most popular rideshare companies, to create dedicated pickup zones that make getting to and from your event as simple as possible.
Our Transportation team determines what pickup zone(s) are best for each event; these pickup zones are indicated on easy-to-find wayfinding signs throughout the building. The Transportation team also works with both Uber and Lyft to update their Apps in order to direct riders to the correct locations.
At the BCEC, Signature Boston treats rideshare companies as their own mode of transportation, separate from taxis. By adding these dedicated pickup zones, we are lessening the number of people who walk to the taxi stand looking for a rideshare vehicle, ensuring more efficient departures from the facility to the next destination (whether it be a networking event, dinner, their hotel, or the airport).
Our facilities are conveniently located just minutes away from Boston’s major highways and are easily accessible from Boston Logan International Airport and many public transit routes.
