16 Local Non-Profits Benefit from Conventions C.A.R.E.

Signature Boston’s highly successful Conventions C.A.R.E. program, launched in 2010, has supported 16 local non-profits over the past year. The Conventions C.A.R.E. program donates non-perishable items, leftover from shows, to local non-profit organizations.

A perk for both exhibitors and planners, the program allows exhibitors to save the time and the expense of shipping goods after a show ends. In turn, this helps us help divert these items from local landfills as part of our commitment to sustainable practices.

The following non-profits benefited from the generosity of our planners and exhibitors:

  • Leahy Holloran Community Center – 15 cases of water, 4 projectors, 2 storage benches, 40 metal patio chairs, 250 notebooks, 4 easels, 50 bags, pens, hand sanitizer, tables, health and hygiene products, toiletries, medical supplies, stools, and side tables.
