Boston Marriott Copley Place Completes Meeting Space Renovations

There’s an exciting new look to the event space at the Boston Marriott Copley Place, one of Boston’s busiest and largest hotels. The hotel completed renovations in 2015 to its Grand Ballroom, Back Bay Conference and Exhibition Hall, and Atrium Lounge.

The Grand Ballroom of the hotel received a complete décor upgrade. The color scheme has been updated to a calming palette of grays and blues. Its new tonal wall coverings and carpeting complements its three existing custom crystal chandeliers – creating a beautiful space suitable for both luxurious and low-key functions. The room offers state-of-the-art digital lighting and sound systems, an easily accessible lighting grid, wired and wireless connections, and fiber optic cabling. With space accommodating up to 3,640 for receptions and 1,990 for banquets, the ballroom may be divided into 11 sections to suit your event’s needs.

Another updated reception space is the third-floor Atrium Lounge. Smaller than the ballroom and accommodating up to 350, the Lounge décor was completed in tones of gray, bronze, black, and white. A highlight of this intimate space is the gorgeous view of the Back Bay skyline.

The hotel also updated their Back Bay Conference and Exhibit Hall. Featuring a brand new color scheme of granite, gray, and gold, the 22,500 sq. ft. space accommodates up to 1,400 guests, 102 booths, and can be subdivided with air walls or opaque glass panels into seven mid-size meeting rooms.

The Marriott Copley Place Boston offers 1,146 guest rooms, 70,000 sq. ft. of meeting and event space, and is part of Signature Boston’s unique 3-2-1 Connect package. 3-2-1 Connect is where your attendees can meet, sleep and play all under one roof with THREE great hotel properties, TWO upscale shopping destinations, and ONE Hynes Convention Center set in the heart of Boston’s world-famous Back Bay neighborhood.
