As a staple favorite among business travelers around the world, citizenM brings an affordable yet luxurious experience to its guests. citizenM is no stranger to Boston—in 2019, its first location opened near North Station. Now, the Back Bay neighborhood welcomes its second citizenM opening, adding to the vibrant collection of hotels in Boston. Here is a look at the new location, a combination of in-room comfort and charming common space that inspires guests to explore everything citizenM has to offer.
Located in a prime spot for shopping, dining, and entertainment, citizenM guests experience the best of Boston with unmatched convenience. For convention center goers, citizenM is just blocks from Hynes Convention Center. Plus, famed places like Newbury Street and Fenway Park are also nearby. Across from the hotel is the Hynes Convention MBTA train stop, part of Boston’s robust public transportation system known as the T.
Comfortable Common Space for Working and Lounging
The citizenM lobby opens into a vast living room, the walls covered in a flush of greenery accompanied by eccentric artwork and books. These unique pieces along with warm ambient lighting and soft seating come together to create a modern but relaxed atmosphere. This living space is not only perfect for lounging and socializing, but it serves as coworking space with many tables and nooks. Speedy free Wi-Fi and access to iMacs further equip guests to work with ease.
Cozy Rooms Powered by the Latest Technology
citizenM puts a modern twist on its 399 cozy rooms. The modular, pod like rooms are all identical and make practical use of the space with an emphasis on comfort. The custom, extra-long and wide king-size bed is fitted with luxe cotton sheets. Along the bed is a double-glazed wall-to-wall window providing views of Boston. citizenM keeps travelers in mind with blackout blinds and soundproof walls as well.
Each room features an iPad that controls all aspects of the room. From the comfort of your bed, guests can cast to the TV, control lights and temperature, request housekeeping, and more. A unique guest profile system allows guests to load their profile onto the citizenM app with room settings, and the room key can be kept and scanned at the kiosk. The next time the guest checks in at any citizenM, all preferences will be transferred to the guest’s new room.
Additional room features include high-pressure rainfall showers, a mini fridge, and a designated hotspot for seamless connectivity.
