Cleaning Flexibility at Boston’s Convention Centers

The MCCA has announced that cleaning services at the BCEC and Hynes will no longer be an exclusive building service. Starting July 1, convention center customers will be able to contract directly with an event industry cleaning provider of their choice.

“The freedom for clients to work with an approved cleaning service agency of their choice has become the standard delivery practice through the convention industry,” said David Gibbons, Executive Director of the MCCA. “This new change will create a more convenient and efficient planning process, for all parties, and will afford the opportunity for a more flexible client budget.”

Comprehensive cleaning services will continue to be offered by the MCCA for companies who prefer to work directly with our facilities on their cleaning requirements.

The Plan Your Event section of our website includes information on all of the services available at our facilities. Whether you are in the process of evaluating Boston or planning your upcoming Boston event, our Signature Boston Team can walk you through all of your building services options, including cleaning.
