After the successful start of the second phase in Massachusetts’ Reopening Plan, this week Governor Baker gave the green light to step two of the phase.
As a result, additional businesses were allowed to reopen including indoor dining, nail salons, massage therapy, personal training, and more.
Restaurants will continue to adhere to CDC-recommended practices such as keeping at least six feet between tables and seating no more than six people per table. Bar seating is not allowed, and diners are required to wear masks when not seated at their table.
In addition to expanded dining service, retail stores can reopen fitting rooms, but, currently, only by appointment.
As of Monday, offices could also expand from 25% to 50% capacity, but businesses are still encouraged to allow employees to work from home whenever possible.
