Après at the Current

Whether you're searching for unique gifts, seasonal wardrobe staples, or just want to explore what’s new in Boston’s ever-evolving retail scene, The Current is a seasonal pop-up experience unlike any other. For the fall and winter of 2025, The Current will transform into Après at The Current. This ski-inspired escape will feature nine curated brands representing artisans from around the city and region.

Some of the brands that will be featured this fall season include:

  • Archive Knitwear: Boston-based and female-owned/operated, Archive Knitwear brings luxurious, handmade knitwear to modern women, using small batches responsibly made by artisan knitters.
  • Baked by Melissa: Baked by Melissa is a female-founded company crafting signature bite-sized cupcakes and treats for your indulgence. Baked by Melissa’s seasonal menu features fall favorites like Pumpkin Pie and Cinnamon, plus macrons and more—stop by to snag what’s in stock!
  • BROdenim: Born and raised in Boston, Laura Brodigan founded this custom-made clothing store with a focal point on statement jackets, enabling women to stand out and express themselves even in the midst of winter. BROdenim has expanded with a variety of personalized pieces covering all seasons.

The Superette

The Superette is more than just a collection of restaurants and retail shops — it’s a dynamic courtyard that transforms with the seasons, offering immersive themed experiences throughout the year.

This spring and summer, the space was brought to life with Splendoria, a floral installation filled with vibrant blooms and lush foliage. The blooms will remain through the fall, but the magic doesn’t stop there.

Starting November 7, The Superette will unveil its winter theme: Betty’s Blizzard Bluff. This whimsical display will transport visitors to the frosty home of Betty, a charming pink yeti. Expect themed photo ops, exclusive merchandise, and cozy seasonal treats — perfect for getting into the winter spirit whether you're shopping, dining, or just soaking in the seasonal vibes., The Superette is a must-visit destination when visiting Seaport.
