Revere Hotel Boston Common Completes $28 Million Renovation

The Revere Hotel Boston Common recently completed a $28 million transformation. This spring, the Revere unveiled a fully remodeled lobby area, rooftop pool, guest rooms and suites, and private event and meeting space. This is the first major transformation for the hotel since opening in 2012.

The $28 million project reintroduces the Revere with a new vision and more contemporary design. Located in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood and in the heart of the Theatre District, the upscale hotel is less than 1.5 miles from both the BCEC and Hynes.

The new design blends old and new, inspired by the legendary Paul Revere with a sleek, contemporary edge. The new open lobby features extraordinary art pieces such as the dynamic steampunk lantern sculpture hanging over the front desk – fabricated from vintage colonial-style lanterns, a wall-to-wall mural of the Boston Massacre, a life-size sculpture of Paul Revere’s horse created from recycled materials, and stained glass panels inspired by the historic Old North Church.

Offering spectacular views and known as a local hotspot in the warmer months, the award-winning Rooftop@Revere pool and lounge is now complete with a full bar and new outdoor and poolside seating and lounge options.

For hotel guests, each of the Revere’s 356 guest rooms (including 50 suites) have been totally transformed from the linens to the carpeting. Featuring stylish metallic, leather, and rustic finishes, each room has also been outfitted with the latest technology, including tap key entry and Enseo in-room entertainment. One (of many) not-to-be-missed benefit of this hotel is its private balconies in each of its guest rooms – a feature unique to Boston.

The last of its renovations were to some of its private event spaces, including a fully renovated Grand Master Ballroom, plus the addition of the luxurious Silver Ballroom. With over 42,000 square feet of event space, the Revere can host events from 8 to 800 guests.
